The Sequim Adventist Church supports children and youth. Scroll down to see the different types of ministries the church offers for children: Adventurers, Pathfinders, Sabbath School department activities, and a Christian School, Mountain View Christian School.


Children's Church ~
 will be the thrird Saturday of each month, with the exception of Summer months and December, and held at the Sequim Adventist Church.



SPECIAL PROGRAMS  The following are events that the children have been involved in:


SABBATH SCHOOL~Bible Study time that are age appropriate ~

Each Sabbath morning, Sabbath schools for each age group welcome children to an hour of active learning geared to their stage of faith development. These classes provide faith-shaping experiences for newborns through adolescents.


Beginner: (A)  From newborn through 3 years old.

Room #2—First door on the left down the hall.

Kindergarten/Primary: (B) Ages 4 through 9, or  Pre-school through 4th grade.

Room #3—Third door on the right down the hall.

Junior: (C) Ages 10 through 12, or  5th grade through 7th grade.

Room #5—Fifth door on the right down the hall.

Teen: (D) Ages 13 to 17, or 8th through 11th grade.

Fellowship Hall, Upstairs (outside parking lot entrance). Through the

breezeway follow walkway to the left of the building then up the stairs.

(Older teens may join the Young Adult class in the fireside room.)


Children's Sabbath School Departments present a special program two or three times a year with each class rotating throughout the year sharing what they have been learning. These mini programs take place just prior to the worship service.


The Adventurer Club is a worldwide organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is designed for children in grades 1-4 who promise to abide by the Adventurer Pledge and Law. Children of any faith are encouraged to join. Children who attend Adventurer Club learn Christian values, good sportsmanship and people skills, and discover their God-given abilities and use them to benefit self and others. They can experience the joy of doing things well and express their love for Jesus naturally.

The Club meets the third Saturday of each month at the Sequim Adventist Church Fellowship Hall. If you have any questions or would like to enroll your child, please contact the Sequim Adventist Church office at 360-683-7373.


The Pathfinder Club is a worldwide organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Any Youth in grades 5-10 who promises to abide by the Pathfinder Pledge and Law can join. The Club meets every Thursday, with some exceptions, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sequim Adventist Church Fellowship Hall. The Club's activities may include community and world mission projects, nature and outdoor activities such as parades, backpacking and camping trips.
